Of course the feast would be followed by some football. We thought this was a precious moment...the men holding the babies while watching a big game.
Football's biggest fan: my niece Katie Jane!!
Surprisingly, the Wii beat out football for the Thanksgiving entertainment for most of the day. It was a huge hit and left a few people knowing what they want for Christmas. We mostly played Mario Kart and Tennis (which Dad and Scott beat most of us, with Scott finally coming out on top...)
These two showed up in the same outfit! Embarrassing.
The day after Thanksgiving we met at Jenny's for some Christmas festivities after a few people went Black Friday shopping. We constructed some delicious looking ginger bread houses! Luckily it wasn't too tempting to eat the frosting, Brady sampled it and told us it tasted like glue.
Jared making sure the joints of the house were properly aligned. He is majoring in this ya know.
The finished products! Ours is second from the right:
Today (Sunday) we met for Gracie's big day. She was pretty nervous all morning, and even during the blessing let everybody know that she was still pretty nervous...some people called it "singing" which was a nice way to put it...but it was a nice blessing and we were so glad to have family there on her big day!
The men who stood in the circle.
Here is Gracie with her much smaller cousins :) Grace was born mid September, Claire (right) mid October and Ruby (left) mid November...
It was such a fun weekend, Jared and I are so sad that it's over already. Another highlight from the weekend was taking Gracie to her first movie: TWILIGHT!! My mom, Jared, Gracie and I all went and we all loved it (EVEN Jared...) So fun!! Anyway, hope your Thanksgiving weekend was as great as ours!

Oh. I love that picture of Gracie and her little girl cousins... They are all so cute! Especially floppy Ruby! :)
Kenley is being blessed next Sunday... hopefully she's not as nervous as Gracie was! :)
We had so much fun this weekend too! We talked about it all the way home! It was fun to be with you guys and see little Gracie!
What a fun weekend you guys had! How fun that you are so close to your family! Gracie is just getting cuter every day!
What fun pics! Thanks for sharing!
THAT was her first movie? I'm definitely gonna have to be her Auntie Mame, huh? :) (Teasing)
Thanks again for the photo-prolific posting! Lets get them to grandmas somehow, too, ok?
I loved this post!! I spent a very long time looking at all the pictures. It was great so thank you. Gracie looks so cute in her little blessing dress.
What cute babies! I think Grace is starting to look like Jared.
