August 2015

Boating on the snake with cousins! Grandma and Grandpa Jones got this new "spiderman" tube that we love.

Thumbs up dude!

After church shenanigans.

One day we needed to go to Twin Falls to pick up some things at Costco. I decided to drive down the canyon a little before we went to see if I could find the waterfall with a trail behind it. Sure enough we found it RIGHT off of the road, tucked behind a hill. The girls loved walking behind it and feeling the mist of the waterfall on their faces.

The Jones Reunion was at Steadman's slides this year. The whole place revolves around swim suits and sliding down water slides....too bad it was a downpour the entire weekend. :( And a pretty cold one too. We were huddled in blankets under big tents and tried sliding when the sun would come out. Luckily, there was fantastic company to visit with. We had a good time regardless of the weather!

For the Jones family talent show we did an 80's aerobic dance routine. Even the kids participated, it was fun!

Swimming lessons! London's first time.

Brave Gracie going off of the diving board.

A quick before-bed run through the sprinklers on our new GRASS!

I thought this was pretty funny, walking in on London laying on top of my newly washed laundry, totally covered in tomato sauce from pizza. Thanks, Londy!

We love Ross Park in Pocatello! We went with Jenn and her kids swimming there. The girls loved being there with cousins.

A summer stroll down the river trail. The wild flowers were in bloom and oh so pretty.

Lucy loves to play memory. She WHOOPS me every time. She has an incredible memory and is not afraid to get as many matches as she can, no matter how badly mom is losing. :)

Cousin Claire over to play, princess makeovers of course!

We went to the parade in Burley at Dworshak. They had a helicopter parked in the front that kids could sit in! We had the Rushton boys with us, they all loved seeing the inside of it.

Daddy daughter dates to the rodeo!

Gracie dressing Elvis up in her American Girl doll accessories. I'm sure he loved it!

Burley Fair and Rodeo! The food is always a highlight. Hand dipped corn dogs for the win.

We set up a new bed for London, and I decided to ride the old mattress down the stairs. Good thing the kids were in bed, or they would've needed a turn for sure.

Jared has this big sombrero that he wears to work in the summer. He wanted me to wear it while I pulled weeds, and I'll tell you, it works!
