August 2015 Bear Lake Reunion

MCMILLAN Reunion at Bear Lake! Oh how we love this tradition. This year my kids were so looking forward to staying in the Robbin's cabin and having some awesome beach time.

We started things out with some Raspberry milkshakes!

Majority of the week was windy and cold. We stayed inside the cabin most of the time. One day the sun decided to come out for a couple of hours, so we high-tailed it down to the beach!

I was in charge of a craft for the kids, so we did layered "sand" in cute little bottles. It was actually different colored salt that we had colored with chalk. It was a big success, especially with the girls. :)

My parent's good friends came up for a day, and Merrie gave all of the kids an art lesson. These are their works of art:

Lots of walks around the loop. Good thing uncle scott is so strong and could carry 2 6 year olds at a time!

After one of the rainstorms a beautiful rainbow came out over the lake!

We drove to Minnetonka caves, which is only about 20 minutes away from the cabin. It was such a fascinating, fun tour through the caves! The kids were in awe of all of it.

One highlight was the lip-sync contest. I only got a picture of Elliot and Jonas, but there were some doozy songs performed that night. I think Grandma and Grandpa stole the show with Weird Al's "Eat it", with some killer michael jackson dance moves.

Peace out Bear Lake! We love you so.
