The day before Easter we spent at my parent's house, celebrating my Mom's birthday, my birthday and Kristin's birthday which are all really close, as well as having a fun easter egg hunt! The kids loved it, they love their cousins....
We needed to hurry and have the Easter egg hunt, but the eggs were still wet, so my dad had the idea of blow drying them to hurry up the process...
Little dress up buddies!
Finally the hunt began! It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast!
Elliot was trying to show Lia where an egg was that she was missing....
What is Easter without a ride in the trailer behind the 4 wheeler? :)
Here is the birthday girl with her grandkids..
The kids actually blew the candles out before we could, but we had to pretend to blow them for the picture...
The next day was Easter! Gracie woke up sick in the night, so we all were a little groggy that morning. And even though the flu bug was at our house, the Easter bunny still came. That is dedication.
We didn't take the girls to church, but we did take them to Grandma's (since Grace was acting like she felt better.)
Here are the adults before the adult Easter scavenger hunt. One of my favorite yearly traditions!
Here are all the grandkids ready to be set loose!
The gorgeous weather made this one of the best Easter weekends we've had in a long time. We're used to having winter coats on while searching for eggs, but this year was perfect. Our kids had so much fun with their cousins!
