little lady.

Gracie is so girly these days. Proof:
When I would take her to soccer practice with me, I'd try to get her to kick the ball with the girls but she'd rather dance around and pick dandelions.
She doesn't run, she scampers or gallops in a totally girly way. Her hands are up and her toes are pointed.
The other day Jared asked what her favorite food was, her reply was, "pink sparkle-y noodles!"
She always tells me that my outfit or hair  is "so cute!"

This is a common sight in our house: Some sort of headband/crown/flower in her hair, mom's tallest "heels" on, a baby in her arms pushing her shopping cart. So girly!
Lucy, on the other hand, is our little athlete. You should see her kick a soccer ball and she can already throw super far! She lovvvved watching the soccer girls and running out onto the field to kick the ball whenever she could. :)

The girls have been playing so much lately, I love it.
At least once a day I'll catch them being "sneaky". They love to sneak a box of cereal under the table and have a secret picnic. I caught them the other day, and just as I took the picture Lucy got stuck between the table and the chair.
Gracie  has been going to joyschool every Tuesday for the past couple of months. She loves it and the little group she goes with is so darling. It was my turn to teach the kids last week at our house, and they were so fun. I taught the letter F and the sense of smell....I taught them what the letter F looked like then took a picture of them making the letter F with their bodies. They loved it:
 There was lots of coloring.
We learned what starts with F, like fish. I made them blue jello with swedish fish in it for their snack...they loved it.
After our lessons the kids played in Gracie's room while waiting for their moms. The girls played "princesses" and the boys were their princes who had to fight the dragon to save the girls in the tower (Gracie's bed). It was so dang cute. The boys were brave with their swords, but didn't quite know what to do when they got the girls out...do they hug? Kiss on the cheek? It was a little awkward. :)

Lucy's stuck face is priceless--she's thinking, "MOM! I can't believe you're taking a picture of this and not helping me!" And Girly Gracie is adorable. She wasn't so girly when she was younger though, right?

Love the preschool pictures :) They are all pretty cute kiddos! Isn't it amazing when your kids start entertaining each other? It's like a whole new realm of motherhood! Love it!
