another before and after.....and a quick boise trip.

I thought I'd throw in the before pictures of our sunroom and the final product. This is the room you walk into from the front door...

Here it is after we put the tile down, but hadn't done much else:

after the benches, pillows, curtains and a fresh coat of paint. It's SO light in this room, we love it...

We're getting there...

Yesterday we got back from a very quick trip to Boise with my brother Elliot and his wife Kristin. We took Lucy, but left Grace with her grandparents for a night. It was a fun little get-away, mainly centered around Elliot's interviews at law firms. He graduates in May and we're so excited that he is considering living in Boise! Woo-hoo! 

Elliot and Kristin love the show Diner's Drive-In's and Dives on the food network. That show went to a few local restaurants in Boise that looked really fun, so we tried a couple of them out while we were there! They did not disappoint...

 And here we are at Donny Mac's trailer park Cuisine! Soooo yummy. The whole place is decorated like a trashy trailer park...totally awesome. If you go to Boise, this is right downtown, and make sure to get the sweet potato fries. Here we are by the table that's inside an old car:

We had a lot of fun, mainly catching up with El and Kris who we hadn't seen since before Lucy was born. I loved showing them around my old stomping grounds. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Boise, where I went to hygiene school for two years. I hadn't been there in years and already want to go back for more.
