A few more home pictures. Decorating with gold spray paint! I've sprayed lots of things to try to get them to match our decor. Also, we've used a lot of navy and yellow.
The sisters are happy to gather around the ipad when one of them has it, it's the time when they snuggle the very best. :)
All sorts of treasures are found in the fields around our house and are brought to our front doorstep. Pipes, old tools, horseshoes, even pretty tumbleweeds! We are preparing to pour our front sidewalk!
This video cracks us up. Lucy's interpretation of boys & girls:
A rare warm day in February! We took advantage and headed to the park.
Snuggles with dad watching some movie:
Going for a quick walk/adventure around our house!
Lucy gave her first talk in primary this Sunday. Her topic was "I know that Jesus loves me". She did a wonderful job and even held up this picture while she gave her talk.
After church we found this red dog in our yard! He hung around for a long time, then we decided to look at his collar and find out if there was an address on it. Sure enough, it said Sylvan Circle (where Grandma and Grandpa McMillan live!) Luckily it was a warm day, so we walked the cute dog back to his home on Sylvan Circle.
Sharing some hot chocolate!
A beautiful rainstorm rolling in. I love a good Spring storm.
My super helpful laundry helper!
We are loving how our kitchen turned out. The layout is very convenient and I personally love how bright and white it is. It makes me happy being in the kitchen all day.
Bathtime!
I was in charge of New Beginnings this year. The them for the year was "Oh ye that Embark in the Service of God." We used the work Embark and made it into a nautical themed Cruise! We had different ports where we introduced the different values. The leaders all teamed up and made really cute decorations.
I went in to help with Gracie's kindergarten Valentines party. Her little classmates were so adorable and she was so excited to have me in class with her. The class sang a song to the moms about how much they love us, then we got to the party!
Our good friends the Fillmore's moved out of our ward. Sister Fillmore invited us over one day to help her with some things, and she let the girls pick one of her Muffy Vanderbear bears from her huge collection! The girls were thrilled. We will miss them when they go on their mission!
