Preparing for Thanksgiving by making 2 cherry pies! We were soooo excited to spend the holiday with our family.
We got to St. George and immediately found the swimming pool. It was a little chilly out, but the kids loved it nonetheless.
We woke up the next morning in our condo and looked out the back window. This is what we saw:
Thanksgiving day Jared and I went for a run with Jenny and Spence. We ran around the golfcourse that was right behind the condo. When we got clear on the other side of the golfcourse, the manager came out and told us we were trespassing. Woops. So we ran back! :)
Thanksgiving day walk in the sunshine. It was seriously beautiful.
We found a perfect playground to burn some energy on.
Preparing the food for the feast! We ate in Elliot, Melinda and my parent's condo.
Aunt Susan and Dinah joined us for the day, as well as Krisin's sister Laura.
We walked down to the duck pond after we ate the delicious food. It was such a beautiful sight!
Time for the talent show! McMillan tradition. My girls did Irish dancing (like riverdance.)
The next day we went for a hike to see petroglyphs. Before we left for the hike we found this place that had teepees and different Native American dwellings. It was incredible.
After all the photo ops at the teepee place, we took off on our hike as a big McMillan family. The views were unreal. It's such a gorgeous place, that St. George.
We worked up an appetite hiking around the desert, so afterward we headed to Nielson's frozen custard for a sweet treat. Grace wasn't shy in expressing herself through dance in front of everyone. :)
We headed over to the St. George temple to see the Christmas lights light up. They have a program and musical numbers to officially light the temple. It was beautiful!
That evening we headed back to our condos to have some dinner. We decided to do a "Dell Scott" dinner that night. All of her favorite, classic recipes that the family loves was our menu that night.

We had a white elephant gift exchange with the entire family.
The next day we relaxed, did some shopping and headed to the Washington Rec center for some swimming.
The week was perfect and much needed R & R. The kids couldn't love being with their cousins more.
