Grace had a wonderful time with her cousin Katie Jane...they played and played, and Grace learned all sorts of new phrases from Katie and Jordan. Sweet cousins:
One of the days we drove into Denver to the Children's Museum there. Now, just so you know...I totally acknowledge that I over did it with the picture taking. But everything was just picture-worthy at the museum! The kids loved every minute of that place and soaked it all up...
Here they are climbing on the cow in front of the museum:
The first room we went in was the firefighters room. It had a huge fire engine, a fireman's pole to slide down and little jackets and hats for the kids to wear! They learned about fire safety too...
Lucy loved the pole, because Jared was helping her...
This picture cracks me up...Gracie hated the pole and refused to slide down one inch:
The recycle room, where they teach you how to build something out of recycleable materials...
We made a princess crown, of course...
In the train room...didn't hold my girl's attention for too long...
The biggest hit of the day: The bubble room! All different kinds of bubbles. This machine spit out big giant round ones:
This bubble is full of vapor:
Pull the rope and make a huge bubble around yourself!
Lucy, drinking the bubbles:
The cutest room, I thought, was the kid's grocery store. Little carts with fake food and a cash register...my girls loved it!
Then, next to the market was a big kitchen where you can take your groceries and make a meal....so cute.
The big treehouse room....
The kids dressed like rabbits and moles and squirrels...
Experimenting with scarves and air:
Gracie LOVED the veterinarian room. Dr.'s jackets, stethescopes, x-rays and a whole bunch of stuffed animals to treat...
The painting room:
And finally, the light room....if you step on this big white square a circle appears around your feet! They had fun music playing, so it was the perfect atmosphere for a dance party...
Dancin' away....
Later that day we went into downtown Denver and walked around. We ate lunch at the Cheesecake factory, walked down past the shops and met a few weirdos. :) It was a fun day!
