California Vacation, day one: DISNEYLAND!

We drove to California the Saturday before Thanksgiving for a California vacation with Jared's family.
One thing I wanted to record that was so funny was: the minute we left for California, we pulled over after going less than a block. Jared had to take the suburban out of 4 wheel drive or something. Right when he pulled off (after literally 30 seconds of driving), Grace yells, "Are we at DISNEYLAND!??!" Ummm....not even close honey. She was just too excited. :)
The drive was so much better than I thought it would be with a 3 and 1 year old. There was lots of snacks, movies, sleeping and book reading. Totally do-able!

We pulled into rainy Anaheim on Sunday to the time share where Jared's parents, sister Kristi, Brother Jason and his family and sister Kiley and her kids (hubby Eric was working) were waiting for us.

The next morning off to Disneyland we went!
It was only a 15 minute walk from our condo. Grace has literally been talking about Disneyland every day for the past year. I don't think she realized that this was actually the place of her dreams! :)
First thing we went on a few rides at Disney then the girls headed to California Adventure to Ariel's Grotto for the Royal Princess breakfast!
 The breakfast was so yummy!
The room was really big, but the Royal Page (the guy who announced the arrival of each princess) was standing next to our table.
The princesses would come out, walk around the room and stop at each table for pictures and hugs. The girls  lovvvvvved it!
Belle was Gracies favorite, and definitely the nicest princess.
 Hugging Cinderella!
We had such a fun time! We headed back over to Disneyland and went on some classic rides....
like the teacups!
Jared's cousin (and our good friends), Brennon and Hillaree live about 15 minutes from Disneyland, so they met us there. It was so fun seeing them again!
One of Jared and my favorites, the Buzz Lightyear ride. Jared got over 250,000 points. Impressive.
Grace loved meeting all the characters.
I loved that Lucy could ride with us on most of the rides! She loved it, once she realized what was going on.
Lucy's favorite of the trip: riding the horses on the carousel.
Jared and Abby's favorite ride? Indiana Jones, hands down.
