Today was such a wonderful family day. It was Lucy's blessing day. We took her to church in suspense, wondering if she was going to be fussy. It's not unusual for her to fuss and cry at any given moment, a little bit colicky. She didn't make a peep during her blessing, and was wide awake! She even lost her binky at the very beginning and kept her composure. What a lady. Jared gave her a beautiful blessing, and Gracie even was a good girl and stayed on our bench. (that's a big deal for her :))
Afterward, our families came to our house and ate a huge feast! Everyone brought food, and it was delicious. It was so fun to chat and hang out with both of our families. Lucy slept most of the time, but I'm sure she felt the love.
The other day my Mom and Jared's Mom were both at our house at the same time. Gracie walked into the room and said, "TWO Grandma's!" Well, here she is with FOUR Grandma's! Lucky girl...

We definitely had a full house, but I think it turned out to be fun that way. We were all nice and cozy.

We love our families, and the support they gave our little Lucy today. Thanks to everyone who came, and we missed those of you who couldn't make it!
p.s. five minutes after our guests left, Lucy blew out of her diaper alllllll over her blessing dress.

What a special day. Lucy is lucky to be so loved and to have such good parents and grandparents. Glad she was happy during her blessing and waited for the guest to leave to explode! :)
