Cruise Day three: fun day at sea

We began our "fun day at sea" by laying out in the warm sun...something I had been waiting to do for a really long time. We found a gorgeous place to lay out, right at the VERY front of the boat, which had big glass walls looking out to the ocean. It was perfect.
We were challenged by Bryce and Emily, and Jason and Katherine (their friends from UT, not part of Jones dental group) to a game of mini golf on the top deck of the ship, right next to the basketball and volleyball courts.
We also went down the big water slide a few times that afternoon with our friends above. We were excited about it at first, then when we reached the end of the slide a big, nice wave of SALTY ocean water covered our faces. It was a nice little surprise. That's also when Jason whipped out his blue speedo and scared all the children around us!

That evening was our first formal dining night. It was fun seeing everybody so fancied up.
Our cute table: Emily and Bryce, Emily and Benji, and Marianne and Christa (the young single hotties that all the waiters served first every night!)
From dinner, our group went up to the karaoke lounge. It was pretty slow, not many people were there (except for the hardcore karaoke-goers who brought their OWN music from home!!). We got in there and livened up the party! After we got there, a huge rush of people came in, and it was crammed! A big group of girls from our group sang a Shania Twain song, and Jared and I sang "Summer Nights" from Grease. We actually didn't volunteer to sing it, we were picked out of the audience! We also sang "Hey Ya" and "Don't Stop Believin'". It was fun, and our favorite part was the asian Carnival staff guy, Kim, who ran the karaoke. He danced his very best to every singer and made us laugh until we cried.
From karaoke we went to a dance club that was playing some rockin' 70's hits! There was nobody there except for us at first, but again, once Jones Dental Care group got there, it was a party. The place was packed when we left! (my favorite part was the cool floor that changed colors!)
We all got a goooood workout dancing that night. It probably burned like 1/12th of the calories we ate that day though :) Unlimited buffets are killers! It was a fun day at sea!

Wow! I'm a little jealous of the office you work for! That's pretty awesome! Is it a pre-req for Jones Dental that you be a Jones? J/K ;) I'm glad you guys had some alone time and so much fun!
