We've blasted our Christmas music, put up our Christmas tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving, assembled our nativity sets, hung our stockings up with care, watched all the Christmas movies we own, almost finished our Christmas shopping, read Christmas stories, made a few Christmas crafts, watched the Christmas devotional, had a couple mugs of hot cocoa, sang along with Nat King Cole, sat on Santa's lap, wore our most festive Christmas sweaters, got a holiday massage (which should be a yearly tradition!), exchanged our goofiest white elephant gifts, played Christmas BINGO, and ate delicious Christmas treats....
We're definitely in the swing of our Christmas festivities.
And December is only half over!
We were in charge of our ward Christmas party...it was pretty stressful, but turned out to be a really fun night. We had a huge meal of potatoes and ham, had Santa come for the kids, and exchanged white elephant gifts. Gracie had never met Santa before and she did great!
The next night we hosted an ugly Christmas sweater party with Jared's cousins. Hilarious! We had some yummy snacks, hot chocolate, a nice Christmas thought, and played bingo for goofy prizes. The sweaters were wonderful:
Jared's got that crazy Christmas look in his eye :)
We voted that Cade won for BEST ugly sweater!
You can tell they love their bingo prizes:
Lexi and Addi were great Bingo helpers, so they got prizes too:
Half way through the party it got pretty hot in our apartment, so everybody ditched their sweaters.
We had such a fun night with the cousins, like we always do. They are pretty fun-loving group! Can't wait to hang out with them more over the break.
Kim, Marilyn and I got wonderful massages the morning before my ward party, which really helped relieve the stress of the holiday party planning! Thanks for the idea girls, it was just what I needed!

i put up stockings and tried to do some shopping before Thanksgiving.
having finals til the 22nd really kills the holiday spirit. thanks for covering all the bases...
I'll definitely come visit if we throw in a "holiday massage" (I don't care what time of year it is. I'll take a holiday massage anytime!)
