Little Lucy turned 4!
She started her birthday right by taking her best buddies to McDonalds for a happy meal. You should've seen the oo's and ah's from everyone in there when these 4 walked in:
Later that night we met at Elevate for her family birthday party. She was on cloud 9!
She asked specifically for a pink dolphin cake. Holy smokes that was quite the adventure. I ran out of time so the mouth looks a little funny, but Lucy was very happy.
Opening presents from her cousins:
We love our Lucy So So So much. She is quite and emotional. She is happy and friendly. She can play for hours with 2 toothpicks if she wanted to. :) her imagination is amazing! Her favorite foods are cheese pizza and mac and cheese. Her favorite treat is Popsicles. Her favorite color is pink. She loves to play with her family and go to her grandma's and grandpa's houses. She does gymnastics and started dance and is such a performer. Her favorite game is hide and seek, her favorite show is anything Princess. She is a sweet little lady!
We took Atley to get snowcones:
Gracie saw this car driving down the street and said "Mom, that is the coolest car I've ever seen!" I had to giggle:
Kindergarten orientation, and she met Mrs. Plotts her teacher. She is ready for Mountain View!
Putting raspberries on your fingers is SO much better than olives!
Finally, we took swimming lessons! We had to postpone them because of Gracie's broken arm, but we finally got them in at the end of August.
Our tile layout in our mudroom:
Random story....Gracie went to the neighbor's house (the alvarez's) and picked a spicy red pepper (not knowing what it was), crushed it up, put it in a cup full of water, then accidentally spilled the cup of water on her face! The spicy pepper burned her lips and cheeks pretty badly and she cried for a couple of hours, poor thing. We were all a little baffled.
Cabinets going in! So exciting!
