Our Halloween started last Thursday at the library. We go to storytime most every week, the girls love it, and they got to dress up and go trick or treating in the library! They loved it and looked pretty cute. Gracie was so excited to be a witch! She even made up a little song she'd sing all week whenever she'd put on her witch hat. It goes, "I'm a witch, I'm a witch, I'm a witch witch witch!"
Lucy was a pink poodle, just like Grace was two years ago.
On Sunday Jared's parents had everyone over for dinner and a Halloween party. Bonnie bought little games for the kids to play and they just loved running around in their costumes together.
We had: A lego, 3 witches, Elmo, a ladybug, a black cat and a pink poodle.
I wore my best Chinese dress (Jared bought me on his mission) and Jared wore his Buddhist monk robes, which he also purchased (illegally) on his mission.
They won fun prizes and candy!
I'm pretty sure that Halloween is officially Lucy's favorite day in her life so far. She loooooves candy and would walk around begging anyone she could find to open a candy bar for her. Once it was opened and eaten, she'd find another one and beg to someone else. She had a system down and had it perfected by the end of Halloween!
Halloween night our ward had a trunk or treat. We made paper teeth on our trunk that just blew in the wind the entire time. We got a huge bag of candy and it was gone within 20 minutes. There were lots of kids there.
There were some impressive trunks and costumes from our ward members!
The girls had such a fun time!
After the trunk or treat we went to my parents house, Grandma Beck's, Jared's parents house, Grandpa Jones', then back to my parents house for dinner at 8 o'clock. The kids were soooo wired and emotional after eating so much candy, they zonked out when we got home. Luckily, we only had one trick-or-treater at our house, because we were out of candy. :)
These are my favorite pictures of the night...
Lucy and Grant the robot.
Until next year Halloween. Lucy will miss you. :)

Love, love, LOVE that last picture of Lucy... She looks TICKED! And, she's sooo cute when she's ticked. :)
Why didn't you come to our house to trick or treat!?
Ha. That last picture of Lucy cracks me up!! Too cute. Emory had the same system for getting candy... Find anyone who will open the candy so she could eat it. Love your Chinese dress!
