I was sitting on the couch writing an e-mail this afternoon when I suddenly heard blood curdling screams.
"MOMMY!!! I'M SCARRRRED! MOMMMMMMY! AAAAAAAAHHH!!"
Gracie had been taking her afternoon nap and had a bad dream, I assumed.
I ran into her room and she was standing up with sleep marks on her face. "Mommy! I'm SO scared!"
"Why? What happened? Did you have a bad dream?"
"No, I'm scared of the germs on my bed....right there", she points to her pillow.
"Germs?"
"Yes. I'm scared of the germs, Mommy...right there!"
Oh good heavens! I have no idea where she found out about germs, but I'm afraid of telling her that they really are everywhere, not just on her pillow. :) She may just have a heart attack. I did say, "Gracie, germs aren't scary." To which she replied, "Germs are monsters, Mom." hehe.
Here we are soaking up the sun in our "sunroom" as we call it. We finally got around to fixing it up a little, so it's not the construction zone anymore. Hallelujah! My Mom spent so much time at our house helping us sew the window bench pads...so nice! We love that room and can't wait for it to be warm enough to be out there all day long.
Jared built the window benches, I love them. All they need now are some cute pillows and we'll have a comfy little sunroom! p.s. please excuse our hard water stained windows...that's our next project.

I can't remember in my mind where this room is exactly. I like the rug and I would love to sit and read a book on those benches.

Germs...hahahaha! I, too, really like the pix and CAN'T WAIT to meet Lucy! I'm honestly ashamed that I haven't met her yet, but at least it won't be as long as it took to meet Gracie (10 months!). Can't wait to hang out in that room!
