Happy half birthday to Lucy!
Today she is six months and the biggest sweetie ever.
Some facts about 6 month old Lucy:
Loves her mama (woo-hoo!)
Has found her voice, now babbles all day. Says "Dadadadada" (Jared is so proud), and chews us out in baby talk when she's tired. SO CUTE!
So very giggly! Whenever a kid talks to her, especially Gracie, she busts up big time.
MAY be done waking up in the night to eat. Could just be we've been lucky the last few nights.
Whenever people see her in the store or around town the first thing they say is, "what a bright eyed baby!" Her eyes are always big and curious.
She has had green beans, applesauce and sweet potatoes in addition to her cereals. She likes them all.
She can sit on her own, and has been able to for a few weeks now.
We love love love our little Luce!
6 month stats: 17 lbs., 26 inches long (which hasn't changed since her 4 mo. appt.)
Now for the flashback part....
I thought I'd post pictures of Gracie and me at six months old. If I had a picture of 6 month old Jared I'd post one of him too (he was a cute little guy).
Personally, I think the girls look a little bit alike, but mostly different. Is it just because I'm their mom?
And here's proof that my children look nothing like me, besides the dimples. They definitely look like their daddy. Funny story about this picture...we gave it to our wedding videographers as part of the beginning of the video when they go through baby pictures of the bride and groom. I gave them a stack of Abby pictures and a stack of Jared pictures. This one was clearly in my stack. We got the DVD back and this picture pops on the screen and written underneath it was, "JARED".
That's what I get for having blue hand me downs from my brothers!

So, I used to think your girls looked so much a like, but after seeing the pics I think Gracie looks more like Jared and I see a lot of you in Lucy!
I agree with Jenn above -was gonna say the same thing. Reese is 17lbs and 27inches. They make a pretty good match eh? ;)
Wow, you all look so different...but you can tell (more in person) that you all belong to eachother--does that make sense?!
The girls definitely look alike, but they do look mostly different. But I think Lucy has a TON of you in her! You got one that looks like you!!! YAY~!
