What's been going on at our house? LOTS of holiday hoopla, that's what!
I love our little home at Christmas time. I know I'm going to be so sad the day everything has to come down.
It will probably be in February. :) I decided to snap a few pictures of our holiday home!
Multiple times a day Gracie goes to the fireplace mantle and points to the stockings, "Dada's, Mama's, Gracie's, Lucy's".
We love getting the mail these days...who doesn't love getting a Christmas card?
(p.s.--we're sending ours out this week, if you want one, e-mail me your address...jarbyjones@gmail.com)
Our Christmas tree lights are on 24/7....
Jared's parents collect Nativity sets. Their house is full of them, it's beautiful.
Here is the beginning of our collection...this one is from Singapore (Jared's mission):
Our Willow tree Nativity...I love it:
and another little Nativity from Jared's mission, a Malaysian one:
Gracie loves our Christmas pop-up book of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. We've read it almost a thousand times probably.
Christmas count-down to Santa's arrival:
The classic advent calendar. I remember having this exact same one when I was little. She gets SO excited every day to see what little picture will be on her chocolate, but doesn't quite get the one-a-day concept yet. She'd rather just open all the little doors at once.
Our poor little gingerbread house has been attacked by a sneaky little 2 year old one too many times...a missing gumdrop here, a sucked on candy-cane there...poor thing.
Saturday morning we went to my parent's ward Christmas brunch. Santa came at the very end and Gracie was SO excited to talk to him! She ran to the front of the line and jumped up on his lap. Whenever we ask her what she wants Santa to bring her, the answer is always different. It's been: an ice cream cone, a shirt, shoes, babies, toys, candy cane, etc. :)

I love the classic advent calendar! We always had one, too, and I don't know where to find one in Utah. I just remember somebody always selling them in Idaho to us.
Your house is so cute decorated for Christmas! Did you make all your stockings?? Love them!
Such a festive post! It puts me in the Christmas spirit just looking at it. Wish we were there to enjoy it with you, but I look forward to your upcoming posts about it. (Great photography, btw)
Did you make your stockings and the Christmas card holder? They are way cute!
I did make the stockings...last year actually. I just made Lucy's last week. The card holder is just a painted frame and hot glued ribbon! Easy peasy.
Great photos of a great season.
