This little fellow is deserving of a blog post, whether he may look like it or not....
First name: Sticky. Last name: Guy. He's been a part of our family for 6 months now. Gracie chose him out of all the prizes at the dental office I worked at in Pleasant Grove. That was back in April.
Sticky Guy, (who is 1 1/2 inches tall...) has survived:
being stuffed in Gracie's toy box and moving to Idaho.
Being left outside in the dirt during a rainstorm.
Hiding under Mom and Dad's bed.
Traveling in many car rides.
Being taken into the grocery store....etc.
He is a fighter, Sticky Guy. Just when we thought he was lost, we'd find him.
Then, the unthinkable happened.
Just a couple days ago Sticky Guy had to go potty, so Gracie helped him. In the potty he went!
That was the end of our good friend. We'll remember old, dirty, stretchy Sticky Guy forever.
On to happier news.....
Jared and I have been very happy with how productive our garden was this year, considering how badly it was neglected when Lucy took over our attention. We had delicious corn, a million carrots, lettuce, beans, potatoes, summer and winter squash, onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers! Our cucumbers look really strange, (they are round...) but taste delish. Here is one of our harvests:
We even made some tasty salsa from the corn, onions and tomatoes that we grew...we ate it pretty fast.
can't wait to grow it again next year...

Did Sticky Man just waste her time or was he productive on the potty?
Your salsa looks yummy! And I love lemon cucumbers. And gardening.
