Big Events

(totally spoiled!)
My wonderful coworkers threw a joint baby shower/going away party for the three pregnant girls in the office, Andrea, Kami and me.
Presents. Cake. Taco soup, the whole shebang. I seriously have the best job ever, and will be so VERY depressed to leave it in a couple of months. I was the only one who didn't know what gender my baby is, so I got some really nice unisex stuff (way cuter than I thought unisex stuff could be!) and gift cards. Everyone was so generous and made it even harder to think about leaving. Love you guys.

A couple days later were some monumental occasions for my side of the family...

My nephew Brady is 8! He got baptized! I love baptisms, they always bring back a flood of memories of my own, which is always a good reminder. He's so cute, and had a pretty active little foot that let him get baptized twice! :) :
Afterward we had a shindig at Jen's house in celebration of Brady.
We then got ready to bless this little guy, my nephew Sam:
He's pretty close to perfect! One of the cutest babies I think I've ever seen.
We headed to West Jordan to my sister-in-law's twin sister's house for the blessing. My brother and his family came from Colorado to be with family for their son's blessing.
Most of the McMillan bunch (besides Elliot and his family who live in Texas) were there. Even my sister Melinda who lives in Philly got to come. We had dinner after the blessing, which was nice until we realized that Gracie was going from person to person mooching stuff off of their plates. She's a food lover, which she gets from me.
Family weekends are the best. We love our families and couldn't feel more blessed to have them close.

Gracie is 18 months this month. Hallelujah! We knew she'd love nursery, and she did. As soon as we said, "Do you want to play with some kids?" she lit up and got so excited.
She headed straight for this toy and didn't even look back. We stood there talking to the nursery leaders for a couple of minutes and I don't think she looked at us once. We were relieved, and not really surprised. She loves to play!
We've never gotten so much out of Sunday School as we did today!
Thank goodness for nursery, and good luck to the leaders :)

What a great weekend you were able to have with your family. It's crazy how many people are in the family photo--and that's not even everyone.

How have you been feeling? I'm guessing since your posts have become fewer lately, not so good?? I'll be calling you soon because I have some borrowed books I need to return. So, make sure you know my new number!
