lights!

We love Christmas lights!
The first trip we took to see lights was with this bunch:
(Spence, Jen, Ruby, Crew and Brady were in our car...Elliot, Kristin, Lia, Jonas, Ryan, Lyndsey, Micah and Avery were in the car behind us.)
Thanksgiving Point has a fun, drive-through light display that we waited so patiently in line for an hour for :) It was worth it! And the company couldn't have been better!

Gracie loved it..she chattered the whole way about everything she saw.
She was hamming it up for the camera...
At the end of the drive, there was one of Santa's reindeer! I think it was Dasher.
Grace couldn't wait to get her little mitten in to pet him. She would've stayed right there all night if she could:
Here's the light-lovin' gang!
Now we're up in Burley for 2 weeks! We were excited to get our vacation started...
Grace and Kinsley have been having fun, running around the house together. They say "hi" back and forth all day, it's pretty cute. They wore their Christmas dresses yesterday to church:
Last night we took a trip out to Rock Creek to see the lights. They were actually really good this year! We were impressed, everything was covered in lights...they were kind of random lights, but cool nontheless! (most random I found? Boxer short-shaped lights).
We drove out there with Kristi:
And Jason, Jenn, Karson, Kate and Claire.
Santa gave Gracie a candy cane at the beginning of the light display, so she was content throughout. By the end, she had red syrup dripping off of her face and all over her clothes. Thanks Santa.
At the end of the lights there was a camel for the kids to feed. It was seriously one of the strangest creatures I've ever seen! You can't tell from this picture, but it was HUGE! Lot's of kids were screaming when their parents would make them feed it...I was a little nervous just being 3 feet away:
Gracie didn't even blink...I think she wanted to give it a hug.

I think she wanted to share her candy cane...
You guys should just make a little trip to Boise while you're up here... just for the day? Kenley would loooove to say HI to Gracie, and we could go eat!

We went to a live nativity a few weekends ago that had a camel. Tameka is now trying to convince her husband that she needs one. It kept us fascinated all night long. And we loved the thick, warm fur it had going on. Who knew camels could handle harsh winters?
