Here's one of the many years I dressed up as a cheerleader for Halloween (very 90's, with my scrunchy and Birkenstocks). The best part of the picture is my little neighbor friend Britta. Any guesses of who she's dressed up as? That's right, Dolly Parton! I remember not knowing who Dolly Parton was, and wondering why her mom made her put so much stuffing in her shirt :)
I think this was my favorite costume and I'm pretty sure I wore it a few years in a row...my mom was so good at making princess costumes. The hat is just poster board rolled up with fabric over it, and the wand is just cardboard and tin foil! So easy, and I LOVED it! This is at the Halloween parade at Southwest Elementary. All the students dress up and march around the school to all the different classes, showing off their costumes. So fun!
