April 3rd, 2009: I wake up nice and early to my happy, talkative baby. Of course she is happy, it's my birthday and she knows she needs to be nice to me all day. She was. We had such a fun day together...going to kiddie kandids, playing with toys, eating bananas. She wasn't fussy all day=
perfect birthday gift to mom. Jared calls at about 2:00, (when he is supposed to be coming home) and says he has to work until about 6:00. Sad. It's alright, because when he got home we drove to Jenny's and dropped of Gracie. It was our
first real date without the babes. We went to the most delicious Thai restaurant, The Thai Kitchen, which we will be back to sooner rather than later. If you go, get the pad-thai.

Jen's kids were almost as excited about my birthday as I was. They stayed up for cheesecake and key lime tarts (which were to die for
yummy!) and "helped" me blow out the candles. They jumped the gun a few times and we had to re-light and try again. They gave me a nice gift of food storage and the most priceless card...Brady wrote "Dear Abby, I love,
love,
love you...o, and i frgot something: Happy birthday. Ok, ine done. Love, Brady" he is so
sweet. We had such a great time at Jen's house. Thanks again Jen for the par-tay!

I got some really nice gifts this year. Apparently, it's the year of the "S" : Stroller, sandals, swimsuit, storage (food).

I can't wait to get joggin'! Gracie's going to love it. So many people called, wrote, sent cards, commented online, etc. for my birthday, thanks for making it so great! Another thing that made me look forward to this weekend was, of course,
General Conference. I love it and look forward to it for months. This time we met up with friends (Jared's cousins and their wives) in Salt Lake at a condo and watched, and of course caught up on each other's lives. We shared our favorite thing-
Indian food! Which was heavenly, but we ate way too much:

We had done this before a couple of years ago when these
little munchkins weren't around:

Avery, Addi, Gracie....It was a little bit noisier this time, to say the least! :) Conference was so great, not only the council we got from our wise leaders, but also the feeling we had being in Salt Lake City. I couldn't help but feel the spirit being so close to conference. We had a great time and can't wait to do it again next conference :) thanks for the fun time guys!
