5 months and V-Day!

Gracie turned five months a few days ago on the 15th. Multiple times this month Jared and I have said "she seems so old..." she acts so grown up lately sitting in a high chair, laughing and being silly. In this picture you can see she is kind of sitting forward a little bit. Her latest thing is sitting up by her self. She won't lean back anymore, she has to sit forward ALL the time, but is still a little wobbly, so it inevitably leads to this:
She also really likes watching T.V. We borrowed a baby einstein dvd from my sister and she already gets into that t.v. hypnosis mode, which makes me a little nervous. Here she is lounging out, watching the tube:
Her favorite things this month are: sitting up, rice cereal (can't get ENOUGH!), putting everything in her mouth, books, watching and staring at Dad, jumping in her jumper, talking to mom and dad all day, chewing on her tongue, blowing bubbles, and she's definitely mastered her fake cry this month. Here she is trying rice cereal for the first time. She did a great job and still just loves it. Her eyes are always glued to our food when we eat and she always acts like she wants a bite, so we figured she was ready to give solid foods a go:
I loved Valentines Day this year! On the morning of the day of love I woke up and could smell my roses before I actually saw them on my nightstand. It's a wonderful thing to wake up to! Jared also made me a breakfast of heart french toast and eggs. Sweet huh? This year I gave Jared "14 days of Valentines" with coupons and notes and treats for the 14 days leading up to Valentines Day. It was exciting to see him open his Valentine each day, it reminded me of grade school.
