Last weekend my buddies from High School got together for a fun day together! We went to lunch at Pizzeria 712 in Orem. The food was pretty tasty, but the company was better! (Marilyn had just come from her soccer game, just in case you were wondering...also, Jared and Chris were actually there, they were taking the pictures)
Then we met up with Brittany and Troy for the Miss America reality show! It's kind of tradition to watch the pageant, we've done it for years, but this year they are having a reality show with all of the contestants every week leading up to the pageant, so
of course we have to watch that too! The pageant is this weekend, and we are all very excited, even though we pretty much know who is going to win. (Miss Indiana). :) The guys didn't
really watch, they sat 15 feet away in the kitchen and only
kind of watched.
Jared and I got to go to the Jazz game this week! I literally haven't been since Stockton and Malone played! I know, I know, I am a bad Utahan. We met up with Jared's parents who had better seats than we did by just a couple of rows. Luckily there were 2 open seats next to them, so we snuck down by them and had awesome seats!! (ps Jason and Jenn, thanks for letting us use your tickets!)
Gracie was pretty reverent (she's folding her arms...) the whole game. I've never seen her sit so still. She just stared at all of the lights, people, and the floating blimp thingy. It was pretty noisy and sometimes she'd jump, poor thing, but all-in-all she was pretty good.
She was pretty good UNTIL the last 4 minutes of the game which I heard is right when it got pretty good, then she decided she wanted to go. I took her out into the hallway and waited for Jared while Gracie zonked out. We really had a fun time and want to go more often. Once Gracie is older.

love you girlies! I will be watching Miss America too! Tell Marilyn she looks so good for just playing soccer.
Clay is going to be so jealous that Grace got to go to a Jazz game before Nixon! (I should have let you borrow one of our many Jazz outfits :) ) I agree with you though--take them when they're older!
How cute! She looks like she isn't quite sure what to do in that picture lol! I havn't seen Kim, Marilyn, or Brittany for so long.... tell them all I said hello!!!
oh how fun!! I wish I could have been there! Someday! PS= The black Box made me cry! How neat!
